Appalachia's softball team pulled a major upset in the LPD softball tournament yesterday by defeating top seeded P.V. girls by a score of 6-1.

but this isnt that big of an upset, if this is a major upset then so is clintwood beating kelly in baseball.

both teams had already clinched their berth in the regionals, so they didnt have to win, and didnt have to wear out their players trying to win the tourneyt.
